The GigaTent was built for people who like privacy and want options on where they can set it up, and this is what this camping shower tent provides. And this is thanks to the stakes and sewn on sandbags provided by the manufacturer.
It was also built with excellent materials, so you don’t have to worry about any malfunctions. GigaTent used a 190T high-quality polyester with a water-resistant coating and added a flexible steel frame to increase its durability.

Overall the portable shower tent worked well at providing privacy when you need it. But in my eyes, it did come with one issue. It didn’t offer a hole to feed the shower nozzle through, which could be an issue for some people.

The Sportneer pop-up shower tent was designed for people over 5’10”, and this is thanks to the hole at the top of the tent. It lets you place the showerhead at the top of the tent, so you don’t have to bend to wash your hair.
I also really like that it came with silver-lined UV protection; it helped keep you safe when the sun was blazing down. And it also helped to provide some extra privacy protection so people couldn’t catch a glimpse of your silhouettes.
Not only is it built to protect you from the sun, but it can actually protect you from all-weather types. It’s made with a water-resistant 190T polyester to protect you from the rain and a strong metal frame and guy lines so the wind doesn’t blow it away.
Overall there are many features that make me love this pop-up shower tent. For one, it can accommodate my height; I hate having to duck down to get my head underwater. I also loved the protection it provides the user in all weather types.

The Abco Tech pop-up tent is designed for the person who wants a lot of privacy and is taller than the average person. The silver lining on the privacy shelter hides your silhouette, which can make you feel more comfortable.
Another great thing about the privacy tent is the window at the top of the tent; it lets you prop the shower head up high. This is great for the slightly taller person than the average person.
I also really liked the camping shower tent because of the number of storage solutions they provided with it. They have a hanging rope on the side for your clothes and towels and a storage pocket for your cleaning materials.
Overall it’s an almost perfect pop-up shower tent, but the one problem I found is there’s no floor. This means your feet could end up very dirty if you’ve been in the shower for a long time and the soil has gotten wet.

The EasyGo Product Shower Shelter is built for people who like versatility in their portable shower tent. Thanks to it having multiple rooms, it gives you the chance to use the spaces for different things.
I also liked how tall the shower tent is. It’s 7.5 feet tall, which means anyone will be able to fit inside the tent without any issues. And this is great when considering some pop-up shower tents barely reach 6 feet.
Another great thing about the shower tent is its storage space. You have mesh pockets that can store all of your toiletries. And you also have a hanging bar inside your tent so you can hold your clothes.
Overall, I loved this pop-up shower tent; it’s got plenty of space inside the tent and all of the features you’d expect. But, if I had to pick one issue, it’s that it doesn’t pack down very small, and it’s pretty heavy.

Our Top Choice
Okay, there you have it, five of the best shower tents. Each one will do a great job, but you need to think about which features suit you the best.
If you want to know which one I’d pick, it would be between two of them:
Both of them are excellent choices, but I can only pick one!
So, the one I’d go for is the WolfWise Portable Shower; the main reason being is it packs down very small, which makes it easy to carry.
And that’s not the only benefit the WolfWise portable shower provides. It’s also got plenty of storage space for all of your toiletries. So you never have to worry about what you take in there with you.
That being said, if you put too much weight on the clothesline, the sides of the camping shower tent pulled together, which was a little bit annoying.
I also really liked that it had an attached floor; it stopped your feet from getting dirty while trying to clean yourself. And the drainage holes provided in the floor stopped pools of water from forming around your feet.

Things To Consider Before Buying The Best Pop Up Shower Tent
Okay, you’ve been introduced to the best shower tents. And while most of them will suit your needs, it’s still essential to understand how to make the right choice.
And this is why I’m going to provide you with the tools you need to choose the right portable shower tent for you.
So, let’s get into it:
Privacy
One of the main features people should be looking for is the privacy aspect; after all, that’s why we have privacy tents. Even if you’re camping, you should be able to take a shower without fearing someone seeing you naked.
The problem is:
Some privacy tents are made with fragile material, and people can pretty much watch you take a shower. And this is why you should be thinking about the privacy aspect of the tent.
Ideally, you’re looking for a tent that’s built with a thick fabric. Some of the tents have a thick silver lining on the material, which is excellent for adding extra privacy to your shower.
Ventilation
If you want to have a comfortable experience while you’re taking a shower on a hot day, you’re going to need to think about the ventilation it provides.
In the sun (or if you’re lucky enough to have a solar shower), it can get pretty steamy inside the tent, which is why you need decent ventilation.
Ideally, you should be looking for a tent that comes with zippered windows or a mesh roof so you can open or close them as you need to.
And ventilation in pop-tents doesn’t just come in handy when you’re taking a shower. If you’re using it for the bathroom, you don’t want any stinky smells seeping into the fabric (Learn how to clean smells from the tent here).
Floor
Another thing you need to think about is “does it come with a floor?” Some of the cheaper camping shower tents don’t have a floor to stand on while you’re showering.
One of the worst things about showers without a floor is getting dirty feet while you’re trying to clean yourself…. It’s kinda counterproductive.
Some of the pop-up tents come with zipped floors that you can take on and off, and for me, it’s a lifesaver.
So, if you’re looking to keep your feet clean while you’re taking a shower, you need to look for a pop-up tent that comes with some sort of floor.
Multiple Rooms
Yep, that’s right, you can get a pop-up changing tent with two compartments, and they’re pretty freaking cool.
Having multiple rooms in your privacy tent provides you with a little bit of versatility. For example, some shower tents are pretty small, so getting undressed and showering can make things pretty tricky.
The last thing you want to do is get your clean clothes wet while you’re showering. And with a multi-room privacy tent, you can use one room for changing and another for showering.
Another thing you can use the spare room for is a bathroom stall. If you’re not a fan of pooping outside, you can use the other side as a portable toilet.
Or, of course, you can just use it as another shower, which is great if you’re camping with a group.
Size
One of the biggest things about pop-up tents is how small some of them are… and that’s the width and the height.
If you’re a tall person, you’re going to struggle to have a shower in some of the tents without crouching down or putting your head in weird positions.
And some of them don’t feel wide enough to get changed, which can make putting on your trousers pretty tricky.
Before you make a purchase, make sure you check out the dimensions to see if it’s going to work for you.
Ease To Pack Down
If you’ve ever owned a pop-up tent, you’ll understand how much of a pain in the butt they are to put away. No matter how much you try, you just can’t work out how to get the thing back in the carry bag.
And this is why you should read the reviews to see how other people fared at putting the tent away. This will give you a good idea of how you’re going to get on with packing the tent away.
Hanging Line
It’s the small touches that really make a pop-up privacy tent. And one of these small touches is having a hanging line in the tent.
Being able to hang your clothes while taking a shower really makes your life easier and helps to keep your clothes dry.
Storage Space
Another great thing to look for in your pop-up tent is somewhere to store all of your toiletries. And unfortunately, not all of them provide this feature.
Being able to store all of your shampoos and body soaps will make your showering experience more pleasant. There’s not a lot of space inside some of these tents, so bending over to pick your soap off the floor isn’t ideal.
Weatherproofing
The last thing I want to talk about in these sections is the weatherproofing abilities of the privacy tent.
For example, if you’re getting changed inside the tent while it’s raining, the last thing you want to see is the rain seeping through the tent.
It’s also nice to see things like sun protection in the tent. Some tents let a lot of sunlight through the material. Not only does this increase your chances of burning your skin, but it also increases the chances of people being able to see through the tent.
And the final thing you need to think about is its wind resistance. The tall narrow structures are usually pretty lightweight, so they can blow around in the wind quite easily.
To counteract this, you need to look for a pop-up tent that has guy lines and stakes to help hold it in place.
How To Pitch A Shower Tent
In full honesty, it really depends on what model of pop-up shower tent you have. The good thing is, they are all very easy to set up.
With most of them, it’s a simple case of taking them out of the carrying bag and releasing the strap. The tent will then pop into shape.
Once the tent has popped out, you need to peg it down with the stakes they provide. When you’re staking the tent down, make sure they enter the ground at a 45° angle to ensure they stay in the ground.
If the tent provides you with guy lines, you’ll also have to pull them taught and peg them down too.
How To Fold A Shower Tent
Although shower tents are extremely easy to set up, putting them away can be pretty tricky. It’s always the part people struggle with the most.
If I’m honest, it’s all about reading the instructions and practicing in your garden before going out camping.
There’s nothing worse than finishing your camping trip and not being able to get the tent back inside the carry bag.
Explaining exactly how to fold your pop-up shower tent in words isn’t an easy task. And this is why I’ve included a video for you to watch.
The video below will explain how to put away the most common style of shower tent quickly and efficiently:
How To Maintain A Shower Tent
Before I leave you, I want to leave you with some tips about maintaining your shower tent. Just like any tent, a pop-up shower tent needs to be treated well if you want it to last longer than a couple of uses.
So, in this section, I want to explain a few things that will help you to prolong the life of your shower tent:
1. Keep It Clean
Dirt on the tent will reduce the quality of the tent, which is why it’s so important to keep it clean at all times. Before you pack it away, it’s a good idea to wipe away any mud before you put it back in the carry bag.
2. Make Sure It’s Dry
You might be thinking that keeping it dry isn’t that important; you shower in it after all. The problem is, if you pack it away while it’s wet, there’s a good chance it’s going to produce mold or mildew in the tent.
Of course, if it rains, it’s going to be hard to pack it away while it’s dry. So in these cases, you can pack it wet; just make sure to leave it out to dry when you get home.
3. Keep It Out Of The Sun
Some of the tents provide waterproofing qualities and UV protection. But with prolonged exposure to the sun, these qualities can start losing their effectiveness. Try to keep them out of the sun when you can.
